usps, what does delivered to front desk/reception mean?
USPS says "delivered," merely....
The packet is not in my locked mailbox? Da fuq? This has never happened to be before.
Has this happened to anyone here? Did you get your parcel eventually?
USPS stands for
U - You
S - Idea
P - We
S - Would evangelize your package correctly, lol
Did y'all look up your ass?

I'yard pretty certain I didn't sit down on it. /histag
Happened to me once. Concluded upward finding it blimp in one of the bushes in our flowerbed.
That happened to me once.
Give them an actress day before you call the USPS and report a lost package.
See if they deliver today. I've noticed that they'll fudge the timeline a fiddling bit, especially if information technology's coming from Amazon Prime.
Same thing happened to me twice:
First time, they didn't put the box primal in the correct mailbox and I had to stock the mailman to go it.
Second time, they were liar liar pants on burn down and the bundle wasn't delivered til the adjacent twenty-four hours even though the website said information technology was delivered.
Wait a day but after that become on their ass otherwise the longer time goes on the chances of you lot recovering the bundle diminish.
Happened to me quite a few times actually.
I would be at home and get a detect that a big package had been delivered. No knock, no doorbell or anything. I would go to the door and in that location would be no package. Sometimes information technology would exist delivered a few hours later with or without a knock. Several times I never received information technology at all.
Almost half a dozen times I tracked the parcel all the mode to my local Post Role just to never get it. When I would call they would always claim that information technology had never fabricated it in that location. Gotta dearest Bryan. They be keepin it thoed at the USPS.
I'g too thinking that they could have put it in a neighbour's mailbox. If that happened I'm pretty much SOL if my neighbors aren't honest people.
I've had them evangelize my package to a different town. The address wasn't fifty-fifty close to the same as mine. I called them about it and they asked if I would heed going to pick information technology upwardly.

they asked if I would listen going to choice it up.
Happened to me once. Chosen USPS and they DGAF. Luckily, information technology was delivered to the same street # one street over and the person that lives at that place was kind enough to bring it to me. I got lucky.
I had this happen once on something rather expensive (WTH they sent it USPS is beyond me), and then I called my postal service office and let them know that it shows delivered but wasn't in my box. They told me the delivery lady scans all of her packages to 'delivered" as she's loading the truck and would be in my neighborhood around a certain time. I went and checked subsequently the mail came and it was there. I had a package delivered yesterday that had "delivered" way early in the morning before the mail service came. It was in the box when I checked the postal service. I'm assuming this is SOP at many locations.
^
They must accept done that with mine and maybe the package is still in the truck or it fell under the seat or something.
Mine is an expensive package as well. About $300.
I had USPS for delivering packages... they tend to lie on their tracking all the time.
I had a package that shows it was delivered on a Sunday and handed to the receptionist at my apartment'south front office. My apartment's forepart part isn't open on Lord's day though, kept checking with front end office every day for a week hoping information technology would bear witness upwards. Opened an investigation with USPS, a few days later on they told me it was handed to the receptionist at my flat's front end office!!!! They simply waited a couple days and read the damn incorrect tracking info to me.

No dollar amount set for my packet
If I don't terminate up getting the package, can I contact my credit card company to go a refund since I never got the package?
The thing is a limited edition of which but about 200 were made. The shop tin can't send me some other one since they are at present out of stock.
Dunno. Worth a shot.
FWIW, my wife'south grandmother sent her pictures of her mom as a child to use at her 60th birthday party tomorrow and USPS lost it. My wife is pissed and the post office doesn't give a ****.
Happened to me recently. Per USPS it was delivered in my mailbox. Only problem is that information technology would be physically incommunicable to fit. Despite the clearly worded statement that it was in my mailbox, I checked with the front role (where I think information technology would finish up) and information technology's non there either.
Guess I'll file a merits or whatsoever.

Ok...WTF does this mean? I've tried to figure information technology out, only haven't

I do not have a sock. How dare you fifty-fifty imply that!?!?! :-)
and I've had a bundle labeled as "delivered", when it was likewise large to fit in my mailbox or needed a signature. Information technology was at the post office.
I've never had a problem when I have them deliver to the address for my back door. teehee).
FIFY protected.

Y'all said in your locked mailbox. Are there any 'oversized packet' mailboxes nearby? That'southward where they use to deliver some things to me. In that location would be a key plumbing equipment the other box in mine when a package was delivered.

Holy crap!! Wife merely texted me and said the pictures arrived today. Just took iv weeks.
ALWAYS pays extra for UPS or FedEx, ALWAYS.
USPS sucks and so hard. And they intendance and then little. Just like in Vegas.
This happens to us all the time too. I get into it constantly with USPS. My terminal rant with them, later on trying to observe a bundle, was about knocking on the door. I asked them to never knock again unless I had to sign. They said it was their policy and I countered if your driver doesn't wait for you to come to the door to see if you lot pick it upwardly its a stupid policy and it should change. She actually got a little irratated with me over that so we kept going in circles about the knocking. I asked to be sent to her supervisor but I was out on agree for 10 minutes and so I hung up. I figured I'll be calling them next month again and then I'll just take the same argument again.
Yous were making me nervous with USPS since I had parking passes for baseball game delivered to my dwelling. Luckily they made it but I have lost some stuff in the mail service before.
Negative. UPS and FedEx stuff always ends up in the role.
This postal service has been flagged.
